April 2025 Hotdog Roast

After canceling this annual event due to road construction and weather, the event took place on a different claim. Over 40 attended; weather was a little breezy; and the hot dogs were great. This is the main meeting location right along the main trail through the claims.

These members are ready to head out for the 1-hour coin shoot. Two nuggets were hidden in a defined area. Both nuggets were found this time. 300 coins were hidden and over 200 were found.

Daniel spent his time searching for interesting things left on the claims by earlier prospectors. He found several old cans, shell casings, nails, and some unique rocks. Nice job!
